Our three simulations - Global Investor, Dealing Room and Trading Floor - transform trading on the financial markets into accessible and enjoyable collaborative learning experiences and effective tools for teachers and trainers.
Players compete against the market and against the other teams in the room, which creates an exciting and enjoyable group activity.
Having use of three simulations makes the resource adaptable for different age groups and learning environments: Global Investor, for higher ability 14-19 students and undergraduates; Dealing Room, for Maths and Business-related GCSEs; and Trading Floor, for team-building and enterprise activities.
Playing against the clock makes the learning experience effective and rewarding and enhances the development of skills such as team-working and communication.
The combined effect of players' actions in the game and their responses in the classroom environment creates a truly immersive learning experience.

“We use Stock Market Challenge in our first year BA Accounting & Finance course to help develop students' academic and employability skills, in particular communication, teamwork and numeracy. Student feedback has demonstrated that it makes an invaluable contribution to their self-development.”
Helen Hall, Programme Tutor, Accounting & Finance, University of Hertfordshire
"Stock Market Challenge just gets better and better each year. The atmosphere in the 'trading room' was electric and the students really got into the spirit of the event. The School of Management is proud to support this project."
David Pritchard, Dean, Cardiff School of Management
"We have found Stock Market Challenge to be an excellent resource. Our Year 10 Enterprise Day link-up with the GCSE English ‘Speaking and Listening’ assessment makes for a enthralling and rigorous day for the boys."
Peter Sunley, Head of Economics and Business Studies, Queen Mary’s Grammar School, Walsall
“The event has really enhanced my interest in both investment banking and a potential career within Citi Group. This is a great way to meet company representatives.”
