Alliance Manchester Business School are thrilled to be hosting the Investment Challenge – it promises to be an exciting day offering plenty of activities to put your skills to the test as well as an insight into university level study.

We are committed to making AMBS one of the best places in the world to be an undergraduate student; a commitment backed by some of the world's best learning and support facilities.

Our motto is Original Thinking Applied and the application of original thinking is at the heart of everything we do. Those that write the books teach our students. We ensure that our graduates are equipped with both theoretical and practical skills when they enter the increasingly competitive job market and have a great track record when it comes to their employability.

Our students study in the heart of Manchester, the student city in the UK - a fantastic place to live, study, work and visit.

But most of all… we look forward to welcoming you to the campus in the summer!

Meet Alliance Manchester Business School staff and students at the final events on 26th and 27th June.

"The Y12s who took part in the Enterprise Network competition were really motivated by the challenge. To watch the students' efforts and thought processes - not to mention the competition between teams - has been a very positive experience."

Nigel Owen, Initiative Leader for Vocational Business, Wales High School

"Trading Floor allowed my pupils to experience proper team working, they learned how to focus for a sustained period, and they saw how Maths can be relevant and real."

Catherine Irvine, Maths Teacher, Edinburgh Steiner School

"The Investment Challenge competition gives pupils a real feel for what it would be like to work in this industry and it really interests them."

Hannah Thomas, Economics Teacher, St. Joseph's RC High School

"There are many competing resources available but Global Investor is particularly engaging for our pupils."

Steven Rees, Assistant Headteacher, Y Pant School
