How the simulations work

Our three simulations - Finance Lab, Dealing Room and Trading Floor - transform trading on the financial markets into accessible and enjoyable collaborative learning experiences and effective tools for teachers and trainers.

Competitive

Players compete against the market and against the other teams in the room, which creates an exciting and enjoyable group activity.

Flexible

Having use of three simulations makes the resource adaptable for different age groups and learning environments: Global Investor, for higher ability 14-19 students and undergraduates; Dealing Room, for Maths and Business-related GCSEs; and Trading Floor, for team-building and enterprise activities.

Time-pressured

Playing against the clock makes the learning experience effective and rewarding and enhances the development of skills such as team-working and communication.

Immersive and interactive

The combined effect of players' actions in the game and their responses in the classroom environment creates a truly immersive learning experience.

Easy to set up, easy to use.

No disks

The three simulations are delivered and stored online and all the game data is permanently and securely held on the server.

No downloads

The simulations can be accessed via any web browser, from within a networked system or from stand-alone PCs or laptops.

No limits

Set up and store an unlimited library of games. The number of teams playing is only limited by the available bandwidth.
